I departed the Montgoinelyti ficeat 8e30and-proceededto the John Blue Co. site located at 2800 Bob
Wallace Ave,Huntsville,AL. I arrived on site at 11:15 andmet withthe EPA environmental
contractors from Dynamac Corp-*(Afi3ieiv-Glucksman and an associate). We proceeded to walk over
the site starting at th'te foundation of the last built foundcybuildiug. -We examined the open fields for
visual signs of deposition of four waste,examined the drainage pathways and drove around to
examine the still exiting buildings of the former foundry—L&hewedthem where the 3 groundwater
borings AD EM p nnel perf0r Le�cated and answered questions concerning the sampling of
the surface water nag,pathway,pj'OmzedAurmgtl',e CERCLA-Site InspeQtion. They had further
questions conceminA a former-UST located on site and questions bQpeerning the hydrogeologic
conditions in the s unding area.-Lreferred thel!"o`Sonia Massey and the UST personnel
concerning the former UST. They mentioned the groundwater work that has been performed on
Redstone Arsenal and I referred them to Jim Grassiano of the Federal Facility Section for further
information on that facility. After answering what questions I could about the Preliminary
Assessment and Site Investigation,performing a walk over of the entire site, and conducting a
windshield tour of the area to acquaint them with the layout of the site and surrounding areas,they
departed for the Tax Assessor's office and Public Library. I departed for the main office at
approximately 14:15 and arrived at approximately 18:10.
